Beerwah pre-poll starts the Monday, 14 March at Beerwah Library, 25 Peachester Road.
Voters from any division in the Sunshine Coast Local government area can vote at any pre poll centre.
Generally voters will place their ballot papers in an envelope with the relevant division number marked in it, before placing the envelope in a ballot box. There are however exceptions, and in the following table you can see that at Maroochydore for example, Divisions 4, 7 and 8 are listed. This means that at Maroochydore, voters from Divisions 4, 7 and 8 will place their ballot papers directly into a ballot box – not in an envelope.
This will enable ECQ to have quicker results in all divisions (and consequently the Mayoral election) when counting commences after 6:00 pm on polling day.
